Allardyce looking to sink The Reds

Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce believes the Premier League visit of Liverpool to St James’ Park on Saturday will bring the best out of his team.
The Magpies were beaten 4-1 by a rampant Portsmouth in their previous home game and Saturday’s encounter will be their first against one of the so-called Big Four.
“I know that these big games bring out the best in players and I hope that’s the case,” Allardyce told the club website.
“If we perform to our best then I believe we can win the game and that would be a huge lift going into December.”
The former Bolton manager believes Liverpool are now a bigger threat due to their summer spending.
“This time around they are a bigger and better squad than they have been under Rafa Benitez and it will be a difficult task.”
