Everton rally to Yobo's aid

Everton say they will do everything they can to help Joseph Yobo after the defender’s brother was kidnapped at gunpoint in Nigeria.
Norum Yobo was dragged from his car in an armed raid as he made his way home from a nightclub in Port Harcourt.
Joseph was due to return to pre-season training next week, but the Merseyside club have given him leave to return late.
Everton spokesman Ian Ross said: "We have sent a couple of messages to Joseph offering any assistance that we can provide him.
"He had been given leave to return late to pre-season training next week because of his international duties for Nigeria this summer. Obviously, this family misfortune means he will stay out there for the foreseeable future.
"Things like this put football and life in perspective.
"The thoughts of the players, management, staff, fans and everyone connected to Everton FC are with Joseph and his family at this time.
"We can only hope that Joseph's brother is released without harm."
Norum was one of three men taken, two of which have since been released.
He is still being held, however, reportedly due to his brother’s high-profile name.
No group has yet claimed responsibility, but Nigeria has seen a rise in kidnapping incidents by militants active against the oil industry.
The kidnapping took place around 4am on Saturday morning – the same day as the Ocean Boys Football Club won the Nigerian FA Cup.
The incident has been confirmed by Cyril Dumite, deputy chairman of the People’s Democratic Party. Police say the kidnappers have yet to make contact.
