Scholes eyes two more years

Paul Scholes has signalled his intention to win a new contract at Manchester United, but says he has just two years remaining at the top level.
The veteran midfielder has been an integral figure for United for over a decade but is in the final year of his Old Trafford commitment.
Scholes feels he is capable of playing two more years in the top flight and he has made it clear he wants to see out his career with The Red Devils.
”I’d think I’ve two years playing at the most,” he said. “I have one year left at United and, hopefully, I’ll get another. But I suppose it depends how you’re feeling and playing.
“I see how my legs are at the start of the season and, at the moment, I feel okay.”
Scholes’ team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo is a target for Real Madrid, but the 33-year-old feels it would be a mistake for the Portuguese to leave Old Trafford.
“If people fancy a move and a bit of money, good luck to them. But it’s always a step down after here,” said Scholes.
