McGhee keen on Kennedy

Motherwell boss Mark McGhee has admitted he is desperate to sign Celtic defender John Kennedy on loan.
Celtic coach Gordon Strachan is thought to be in favour of a season-long loan deal for his young defender to gain first-team experience, but the two clubs have stalled, unable to agree the terms of the deal.
It is thought that Motherwell are unable to meet Celtic's demand to pay Kennedy's full wages for the year, and McGhee admits this is something Well simply cannot afford to do.
"It seems a simple enough thing to get done but we seem to be finding it difficult between the two executives," said McGhee.
"We can't, apparently, afford the full amount, so we're haggling to see if we can make it any less."
Norwich are rumoured to be interested in the young Scot's services, but McGhee insists Kennedy is in favour of a move to Fir Park.
"John wants to come here and has made that absolutely clear but at the moment we have not come to an agreement," said McGhee.
"I don't think Norwich is a red herring but unless Celtic are prepared to compromise or we are prepared to find the full amount he'll probably end up there."
