Advocaat issues Spurs warning

Zenit St Petersburg coach Dick Advocaat has warned Tottenham that they will have to up the ante if they are to sign Andrei Arshavin.
Spurs have been chasing the gifted forward for much of the summer, but the move appeared to stall earlier in August as the two parties could not agree on a fee.
It had been suggested last week that the two clubs were ready to re-open the lines of communication, but Advocaat has insisted Spurs have still not met their valuation.
There are still a couple of days left in the summer transfer window, but Advocaat has claimed Zenit will not lower their valuation of the player.
"They (Tottenham) had several weeks of time to buy him and they did not offer €22 million (£18m) like everybody has been writing but just €16 million,” said the Dutch tactician.
"I think that Arshavin costs more than €16 million."
