Well make ticket appeal

Motherwell have made an appeal to Nancy to increase their ticket allocation for the Uefa Cup meeting between the sides this month.
The Lanarkshire club embark on their first European adventure since 1995 and fans are facing a potential ballot to allocate tickets for the away fixture.
Mark McGhee’s side have been given 1,030 briefs for the match and the club are hoping to arrange another 1,000 tickets.
“Nancy initially told us they couldn’t increase our allocation for security reasons but we held further discussions and are hopeful they will be able to release further tickets,” chief executive Ian Stillie told the Daily Express.
“We believe Nancy only have an average gate of 15,000 and we’re hoping they can make the necessary adjustments to increase our allocation.
“We know this is a big thing for every Motherwell fan and want to assure them we are doing everything in our power to get as many tickets as we can.
“We have between 3,000 and 4,000 season tickets and believe at least 2,000 will want to go.
“If we can’t get the extra tickets, we’ll have to do a ballot.”
