O'Brien hot to Trott until 2011

Barely a year after joining the club, Andy O’Brien has signed a contract extension that is set to see him remain a Bolton player until 2011.
O’Brien arrived at The Reebok from Portsmouth in the summer of 2007 after struggling to secure a first-team place on the South Coast.
He took little time to get his feet under the table and has since been the model of solidity under Gary Megson.
“I’m eternally grateful for the opportunity Bolton Wanderers gave me, and the way that the people at the club – the supporters, Gary Megson and the players – treated me,” O’Brien told The Trotters’ official website.
“This has made me enjoy my football as much as I ever have done in my career, so hopefully I’ll continue to do that and we’ll pick up results.
“From my point of view, I’m happy at Bolton so if they were happy to keep me then there was never a problem.
“I’m delighted to extend my contract and there’s plenty of hard work ahead of me now.”
